Remove the seat and fuel tank. Remove the spark plug and valve timing inspection plug turn the crankshaft counterclokwise to set the piston at T.D.C Excessive valve clearance results in valve noise and insufficient clearance in valve damage. we the engine cold specificatons 0.003 to 0.05 in.valve clearances, should be as closely set as possible. suzuki ls650 service manual.
